Got my comp copies of A Chance to Mend yesterday! This new graphic novel releases on Feb 28th! It was an amazing experience working on this book with Lisa, Neil, Joe, Matt, Micah, and Mark!

18 months after a Finals appearance and 10 months after trading superstar Luka Doncic, the Mavericks are a horrid lottery team while their regional rivals the Thunder, Rockets, and Spurs, and Luka’s Lakers are the best teams in the league and odds on favorites to win a championship. Brutal.

Here’s why I think the blow up costumes work: The fascist rhetoric is that the protests are “I hate America” rallies filled with “terrorists” that will “cheer for chaos instead of country” and impossible to hide images of joy and togetherness and generally being silly decimates their propaganda.
