Last night I stood next to a woman who was wearing a perfume that smelled like cinnamon rolls. It was confusing because I kept wondering where the fresh cinnamon rolls were.
I was raised in the Southern tradition of not talking about yourself so that you don't come across as arrogant or bragging. It's taken DECADES but I'm finally finding the strength to say "fuck that." I had an amazing VO session this AM where I got to direct a big named actor and I did a great job.
It hurts for sure but at least this bee sting wasn't as bad as little me remembered. Also I was 2 miles into a very steep hike and everything was hurting at that point.
I got stung by a bee when I was 6 years old. I've been terrified of bees ever since but I haven't been stung again for almost 45 years. Until this past Saturday.
