Aw man exactly. I can see it perfectly:

- all ninja but Kai are corrupted, Lloyd killed by Overlord

It’s all a matter of what Baylan’s true goal is I think. His character has all the intrigue and motivation, we just have yet to see what the end result would be. Krennic’s ultimate fate is what makes him such a great villain: decades of scheming and manipulations, just to be undone by his own work.

And I mean actual apocalypse, like the main Ninja storyline in the First Realm in Hunted but turned up to an 11, rather than the more dystopian storyline Lloyd and Nya had in the same season (though that is a really good example of using a lot of side characters as a team)

Wont be watching this until/if it becomes available in a different media…

but this combined with the Land of Monsters aesthetic makes me think how awesome it’d be to have a Ninjago/DR equivalent, showing mostly B-characters as a large team in an apocalyptic setting.

Rewatched the PoTC movies again & realized how much better Nadakhan AND Skybound would be if he was written more like Davy Jones:

- scorned by love (to parallel Jay’s desire to be w/ Nya)
- Overlord of the Sea
- Deals in Curses with each wish

- But still wants to bring back Djinnjago

Thinking about how ALL of Season 3 would have been avoided if Lloyd hadn’t caused Nokt to turn his head and Sora hadn’t noticed the shock collar.

Like, they literally could have skipped straight to S4, but with Nokt still under Ras’ control.

Fantastic snapshot. Not only is it two of my favorite trios all together, but I am a huge fan of the outfit “diversity.” Arin, Jay and Wyldfyre are all rocking their own fits, Lloyd and Nya have a similar thing, and Sora’s has her own spin on it.

I think that last one stems from the fact all of the ninja are split up again, so this guy was theorizing that they’ll all face individual threats from their respective areas

I guess it is main speculation, but a few rumors circulating about time skips, and I saw one surmising that there won’t be a single uniformed “villainous faction,” just a bunch of minor nuisances & Ras (though I’m fairly certain it was just some guy theorizing, I haven’t seen it anywhere else)

Will Jay retain his new hairstyle (🤞)?
- Will they make it for the S4 sets?

Will the villainous faction be allied with Ras/his master?

Will Jay be in the official lineup in the S4 intro?

Yes I would legitimately be so happy with that. Cinder is the rare breed of Ninjago villain that is loyal AND capable in a fight (albeit mainly with Shatterspin but still). He was even willing to take on Rox and Nokt without powers
