Ivan suffered an eye injury near Kupiansk, when an FPV drone struck an armored vehicle, burning his face. Doctors performed 3 surgeries, saving his eye and giving Ivan a chance to see again someday.

The explosion also caused a partial fire in the rolling stock of the freight train.
