Time to start my thread of 2025 games:
1. Started off the year replaying my #2 game of last year Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Basically had the urge to replay Dondoko Island silliness ahead of Pirate Yakuza and ended up replaying the whole thing and getting the PS4 Platinum (to match my PS5 one).

Some years ago, I lost an hour to Daylight Savings when the clocks moved forward while I was at PAX East in Boston. As an Arizonan, I never got that hour back. That changes tonight because I'm in Las Vegas for the @dimension20.bsky.social live show so I'll finally get my hour back from the universe!

Well this was interesting. Opened a #MTGxSpiderMan bundle today & noticed SOME of the rares/mythics (including a 2nd Soul Stone) were missing their little holofoil stickers at the bottom. Didn't see any signs of tampering so I'm hoping it's just a misprint? I've put in a ticket with WotC support.

Got my first Hades 2 clear on night 34 (which I think is around the same place as Hades 1) in my very first run with the 6th Nocturnal Arms weapon. Immediately followed it up with another success with maybe my least favorite of the weapons (Witch's Staff). Supegiant remains great!

Wizards/ Magic: The Gathering really came out of nowhere in 2025 and said we're taking all of Trevor's money.
Been enjoying a week off work and can't wait for it to really kick into high gear tomorrow (and then throughout the weekend) with some Hades 2.

I loved the Hitman games too much NOT to give 007 First Light a shot when it comes out, but I thought today's showcase was really rough. I'm sure it will play better when you can explore all sorts of different options yourself but wow was I underwhelmed until things popped off near the end.

Saw @alyankovic.bsky.social last night and had a blast! My favorite moment was when "Skipper Dan" started up and my former theatre-kid, current Disney Adult-loving butt thought "this must be what Swifties felt like when their favorite song was a Secret Song in the Eras Tour!"

Weird very niche thing but they're deliberately NOT calling it The Black Pearl, which is just silly. LEGO/Disney have done this recently with "Boba/Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship" to avoid calling it Slave 1 but I don't get this one. That would be like saying "Han Solo's Corellian Freighter."

LEGO/Disney have done this recently with "Boba/Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship" to avoid calling it Slave 1 but I don't get this one. That would be like saying "Han Solo's Corellian Freighter."
That was pretty fun. Totally get why it's a top pick on Netflix. Very charming hearing all the little kids cheer after the songs (and I appreciated that I didn't really hear THEIR voices singing along over the soundtrack).
Gonna catch one of the sing-along screening of KPop Demon Hunters tomorrow. As someone who hasn't had Netflix in years, I think this will be a fascinating way to first experience the movie (I've only heard a handful of the songs and know the basic premise).

Can't wait for Microsoft/Bethesda to drop the ball again and NOT have a New Vegas remaster ready for Fallout season 2.

Got the itch for some more FF MTG cards today and treated myself to a pair of collector packs. Found a Surge Foil "Cloud, Midgar Mercenary" which easily becomes my best pull.

Absolutely fascinating. I saw the plagiarism reports and wondered how Pokemon TCG Pocket might handle that. Guess they pulled the art at the 11th hour. "New Art Coming Soon"
