With micron killing crucial off, there is a very good chance that they will go bankrupt if/when the AI bubble bursts and they are forced to build crucial back up to a 10th of what it was.

You only forget how to do things that you stop doing. If AI makes you dumb and lazy--which it appears to in fact do--then not using it will put you ahead of everyone that does.
This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.
