Exactly!! If the standards are set at such a high bar it ignores so much work from smaller creators. Id rather see oc animatics and slideshows than have people feel like they cant tell their story without having a big team of animators and a merch deal

I think we should come up with a term to differentiate indie animation that's made by a small startup company vs indie animation made by one guy with a dayjob and a small youtube channel. And then we can stop comparing the two unfavorably
