Even though I'm still reeling from yesterday's migraine, I decided to play a little bit of Metroid Prime 2... and of course I died trying to make my way back to the save station near the Agon Wastes' portal room. Now I have to defeat the Jump Guardian AGAIN.

Sigh. The true Metroid experience.

So yesterday after the stream I had a moderate migraine, bad enough to have to take a pill... and I'm relatively fine now?! Like, not totally fine, I never am, but usually these things last for days and don't clear overnight at all. Maybe the Botox is starting to kick in? I dunno.

The only downside is that the coffee is ever so slight less concentrated, so I haven't yet switched my morning coffee, just my lunch one. But I might do it in the future.

I've been using reusable Nespresso capsules for a few weeks now. I lose a bit of time putting the coffee into them, of course, but the savings are insane.

The coffee I usually drink costs .47€ per capsule. Using the reusable capsules + bulk coffee grounds, it costs .075€. That's 15% the cost.

I'm letting this game completely pass me by for now. I have to carefully dose my gaming time, and I don't feel like spending $60 on a brand-new game when I have tons of older games I already own to play. Plus, money is tight for me now. I hope everyone who gets it enjoys it!

Today, I've been having permanent pain on my left temple, which might be a weird unusual migraine (usually they start at the front) and thus I gotta avoid screens, or maybe it's just a tension headache, as usual.

I've had a pretty lousy weekend with migraines, and today I had an aura, which is actually a pretty damn rare thing for me to get. Imagine a bunch of fireflies in your vision for like 5 seconds, coming and going. My head is still mostly fine... for now.

Nah, webp is the best format. It's widely supported nowadays, with way better compression rates than older formats.

Slowking covers Espeon and Vaporeon's type, Umbreon has terrible SpA & I'm gonna have an electric mon already (Minun), That leaves Flareon, which has good SpA, but is a *pain* to get in HGSS. The only way to get a Fire Stone before Kanto is by a random kid gifting it to you by phone.

Considering I'm already gonna have to mod the game to let Slowpoke evolve into Slowking without trading, I could do the same for Glaceon and some item or another (there's only 1 NeverMeltIce in the game, so maybe not that one).

Why not just use one of the other Eeveelutions, I hear you ask?

I was planning on using Glaceon in the Trump Card playthrough, but *apparently*, Eevee cannot evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon in Johto.

*sigh*

I was convinced there was a Moss Rock in Ilex Forest and an Ice Rock in the Ice Path...

I might have to use *gulp* Flareon.

I might just arbitrarily decide to NOT use the beams (Ice Beam, Surf, etc). The game just isn’t as fun with such good moves, I feel. Thankfully in HGSS they aren’t *that* easy to get (since they are Game Corner exclusive). Slowking learns Psychic by level-up, tho.
