@sciencevs.bsky.social I just listened to the seed oils episode - as someone who suffered a heart attack and got two stents last year I wish there were more to it. Always looking for the magic ya know? Have you done an episode on Omega 3s or plant based diets?

@sciencevs.bsky.social I'd prefer permanent DST but that is because I live in Vermont. The main problem for me is really the shorter days. I hate Winter in the northern latitudes. I really need to just move to the equator and be done with this BS. :)

This was a huge problem during the 2023 campaign. Certainly more concerning than immigration. Did Democrats run on fixing this? I don't recall...

Hey, @sciencevs.bsky.social Love the podcast. I just listened to the one on fertility rate though and thought you missed something pretty obvious. If the problem is that there are not enough young people to support old people when why not just change the funding formula? Tax the rich maybe?

This is all really starting to piss me off. The way you improve trade, manufacturing, jobs.. is not by being a bully. It is by investing directly into infrastructure and manufacturing. You know, like Biden was doing. Just lowering the cost of electricity nationwide would be huge!

I'm really sad about the end of EV incentives. It is going to force me back to an ICE vehicle. I really loved not going to a gas station for ten years. Oh well, maybe States can make up for it.
