Of my many years of watching legal shows, this is what I've learned. You should verify this.

A grand jury assesses the evidence to determine if there is enough to lay a criminal charge.

A regular jury assesses the evidence for an acquittal/conviction.

the only legislation that is needed is speed limiters. As an e-bike rider, I'll say 30k/h is pretty fast on shared pathways.

whatever savings we might have from not having a raise in property taxes are not passed down to renters or businesses who pay their taxes to a landlord. It ONLY benefits land owners.

You know when the cost of living goes up and you don't get a raise so you have to start giving things up to survive?

That's what it means when politicians vote for 0% property tax increases. It means they will just do less. It means expect less. It means we don't deserve the same, let alone more.
