It took an 80k contract, 2 training days, and 1 consultant for the board to produce 3 questions and repeat that listening to the community matters.
How is that a responsible use of public funds? We have asked for town halls for months, yet they only move when a consultant approves the idea…

We could’ve given 300 of our most vulnerable students $50 each to help feed their families. Instead, the superintendent padded her $200,000+ salary with 15k for NOT attending Executive Training.

PVUSD counselors, you’re being gaslit. The superintendent’s responses aren’t honest. And if she truly doesn’t know how many students are enrolled just a week after registration, that’s a serious problem.

Saying you oppose ICE, but then vote yes to police Black and Brown students on campus, is a contradiction. You can’t claim to protect our communities while supporting systems that target them.

This is a big step toward better communication with our families and honoring the language of our comunidad. 🙌🏽

It’ll be something to see Educational Leaders & Elected Officials who opposed ethnic studies now standing alongside our immigrant familia at No Kings Day. Public support is important—but so is accountability.

The level of disrespect shown by PVUSD board leadership toward Black women is shameful and deeply upsetting. I was so enraged by what I witnessed that I had to step out of the room just to collect myself.
