It was in my college days, we were brokety broke. Got tickets because some dude left his wallet full of 50's on my counter at 7-Eleven. Found him in phone book, called him. Gave us $50 and 2 tickets to that concert.

Back in the early 80's, Jude and I went to see Cyndi with early (pre- Manic Monday) Bangles opening in Boulder. An iconic concert for both of us. Lauper was so great, as were the Bangles.

Watching Karen Pirie Season 1. It is dark, bit slow moving plot wise, but dang does it highlight the politics of murder investigations in a realistic way. Fascinating.

It has been reported that Ralphie VII of CU has been given the nickname "Brandy". This is because of her affinity for the song Brandy (You're A Fine Girl). Makes sense to me, The Cat's favorite song is Beth. Animals love themselves some 70's power pop ballads apparently.

Years ago, Jude trained our dog, Gretel, to bring us her bowl whenever she was hungry. Mistake, she was a dachshund, always hungry. Had to switch her "bowl" to a cast iron skillet. Still remember that sound of "thunk" over and over as she tried to carry the "bowl" to Jude as we watched TV. :)
