But even knowing I wasn't a man, it didn't stop people I went to uni with calling me one and lumping me in with men in their own very performative approach to discourse. Of course, these were the loud-and-proud cis allies, who could've guessed.

Mind, I'm on the safer end as a white "masc presenting" nb person, but there's only so much you can do to conform with the biology you're given. Can't help having a deep voice, can't help being tall, cant help not having a stereotyped affect.

I appreciate this perspective. It's always grating to see people who are otherwise "allies" default to truscum attitudes about those of us who don't conform to a binary presentation in our transition, or whose presentation while not explicitly one way or the other gets overridden by our appearance.

Anyway in an anxious procrastination fit I finally unpacked and re-packed like 5 boxes and piles of documents that had rendered my desk unusable over the course of Friday -> Tuesday and although it's technically productive it doesn't feel good because nothing else got done whatsoever
