also the more i play of update 100 the more i have to remember all the mew inside truck type hidden bullshit you were just supposed to pick up on as you play which i also kind of miss these types of games having lmao
the thing about nuclear throne and its general influence as a Classic:tm: in the roguelite conversation is that it really puzzles me why so many games in the genre (esp other twin stick shooters) decided to Be Slow instead. always felt like an interesting divergence
