Two weeks later and the snow has started melting. Now that it’s not up to his shoulders, he’s being a bit more adventurous in the yard. Maybe he was inspired by the Winter Olympics. Looks a little like ice skating out there.

Day 8 of too much snow for walkies. He is still, reflective, taking it all in. We’ll get some steps in at dog-friendly stores today. He needs an outing.🐾

This very good boy had to stay home from daycare because there is a foot of snow covering everything. Despite not getting his typical long walks, he was just so very good while I was facilitating calls all day. We played hide and seek during breaks with extra special treats to wear him out.❤️🐾

A super short freezing cold walk meant that today for the first time, Tucker encountered the robot in action. I’d say that went well!

It takes so long to get out the door in sub-zero windchill. I didn’t time it right this morning and ended up with all my layers on just waiting for this good boy to finish his distraction from putting boots on.😂 We’re expecting more than a foot of snow this weekend. Unprecedented for my city. 🥶

Update: Apparently he didn’t hide it well enough to trust leaving the house without it. Our midday walk included his treasured “No Hide”.😂🐾

One of my resolutions for the new year is to play more. So for the first walk of the year, Tucker and I visited a favorite spot that we haven’t frequented recently. It seems Tucker’s resolution is to sniff more.😂 Walkies were slow, but it’s a holiday. No need to rush. (🧵 1/2…)
