This was a piece I did to challenge myself by limiting my palette significantly (the Septembit '22 palette on Lospec). I had no clue what to make for this piece so I asked around for some prompts and the one I got was "Something that drains or charges a crystal"

I'm rather proud of this piece :3

The only things visible are the crystal and the glowing light radiating out from it, the pedestal - in which the crystal hovers, and a circular portion of the floor which is illuminated by the light of the crystal. Where the pedestal sits is the shadow it casts which is fuzzy due to the way light shines outward from the pedestal. The square image is padded on either side by the green mid-tone and the colors used for the piece are arranged towards the bottom.

This was my first foray into pixel art so I decided to do something simple and just create a piece from reference. I think it turned out quite nice :3

I'll be posting a few pieces I've got archived over the next few days.
A depiction of a nintendo switch with the classic red and blue joycons on the right and left respectively. It is on a pastel pink background with its screen unlit. There are two light sources in the scene shining at the bottom left and right which brighten the colors at the bottom of the switch. Those light sources are also reflected in the edges of the screen glass. The 10 color palette used for the piece is centered below the switch.
