Spiders, and the Fade. He deals with the spiders by either avoiding at all costs or calling for his partner to deal with them for him. The Fade is easier, he just... doesn't go there 😆 but he does occasionally have to travel via the Crossroads, which he HATES.

Eden ended up forming an unexpected bond with Emmrich because he reminded her so much of her father, who had died when she was 10 along with her whole clan. Emmrich ended up being kind of like an uncle figure for her, & he’s helped her process a lot of things she’s ignored for decades.
