I made this #mushroom gravy boat using a vintage #slipcast mold. Useful for gravy of course, but it also makes a cute little flower pot, or in this case, a fungal bouquet of golden #chanterelles!
It didn't sell at the fest, so I guess I'm eating the chanterelles.

Beaaahh so much persnickety glazing, but I'm nearly done painting everything. All these need now is a gloss clear coat and then in the kiln they go. Trying out some new color variations. Can't wait to see how it all comes out!!

I glazed an Arnel's sugar bowl + 2 footed cups in similar colors as Sears Roebuck Merry Mushrooms pottery from the 1970s. I think they're gonna look super groovy after they've been fired! Finished pieces are actual #MerryMushrooms stuff I had in my kitchen #mushroomcore #fungifriend #proofofcat

I've got a new batch of mushroom incense burners in the works. I roll out clay, roll a texture across both sides, then use a hexagon cookie cutter to get the shape. This time all the mushrooms are going to be amanita looking. #mushroomcore #ceramics #clay #mushroomart #handmade #workingartist

Back in the fall I was working on a new jewelry design: Turkey Tail mushrooms crafted from birchwood using my laser. I was struggling to come up with a design that didn't look like crap. I decided to take another stab at it this week and I'm considerably more pleased with the results.

Today I went candy cap picking. I brought a small basket because candy caps are small. Instead I found gobs of giant chanterelles. I picked until my basket overflowed, then I had to use my rain jacket to carry more. I left many behind. Always bring a bigger basket. #GoodProblems #mushrooms

Here's some of my recent pottery. I acquired some vintage Arnels Mushroom slip cast molds and made modern castings of vintage style pottery. I love my 'grandma's house' aesthetic. I think I did a pretty darned good job. #MushroomCore #StickAMushroomOnIt
