Trying to find a solution for running the Frontend debugger through VSCode. This doesn't look possible according to github.com/tauri-apps/t.... That's a pretty serious dealbreaker...

Experimenting with Tauri (v2.tauri.app) to build a standalone application to simplify accessing the file system and calling shell scripts.

The data is stored in JSON files in the MVP and both the planning tool and the task manager have access to that same set of files. I will revisit this once the architecture settles down a bit because sharing files is not great.
