I oppose certain societal injustices, however people anticipating that because of that I will help reinforce their precious sense of victimhood are in for a very sharp shock.

That's emotional empathy. I don't do emotional empathy.

Here's why - Harper's Handy Guide to Empathy:
Trump really likes polling data. Here's a poll that someone in the regime really should bring to his attention, he'll love it:

I quite like the way BlueSky's moderated words list has an optional expiry time.

Being the proud owner of a functioning brainstem, I am capable of being concerned about more than one issue at a time. If one topic is dominating excessively, a few time-limited entries in the list sorts that nicely.

Fingers crossed. Hungary deserves far better than what it currently has.

Besides, I'd like to go back to Budapest and refuse to go while the current regime is in place.
#Hungary holds elections in April. The stakes couldn’t be higher – for Budapest, for Brussels, and for democracy itself. Can the opposition win and restore democracy? 🇭🇺 🇪🇺

I dont know if democracy is annoying because nobody has ever tried it, though some Nordic countries come close.

A fundamental attribute of democracy is an educated and informed electorate. Take a look at our electorate - they fall so far short of both of those that it's laughable. The US is worse.
Andrew Rosindell thinks democracy is annoying.

So the "Peace" bit of Board of Peace has exactly the same meaning as "Socialist" did in National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Understood.

Pretty much every podcast I've ever tried to listen to is tl;dl.

The sound of their own voices is more important to them than the content. Like a New Yorker article in audio form.

Either get to the point in an edited format or publish a transcript.

"Governor Newsom rips European leaders for not being effective at clearing up a shitstorm entirely of America's making in which he played a spectacularly ineffective part."
Donald Trump is headed to the World Economic Forum in Switzerland to brag about wrecking the American economy.

That's why I've also flown to Davos — with an extra suitcase of kneepads for those caving to Trump's insanity — to vigorously defend California as an alternative to Trump's world disorder.
