These bikes are pretty much the sweet spot for the street. I think the price tag of the 1000cc bikes is an issue, too. Most people willing to buy supersport bikes for >€25k will likely go for a Ducati or BMW.
But the GP25 race times aren’t faster than the GP24‘s were last year, so are they really going backwards?
Anyway, paying your rider 7 million + win bonuses but not trying absolutely everything to make him win seems so strange to me. And it fits Ducati‘s history (JL, Stoner)
It’s such a bad look for Ducati if they didn’t allow Pecco to do it earlier in the year. Gigi gets a lot of praise (deservedly so) but he should be heavily criticized for this.
