And starting late makes it more tedious, but I think ultimately it's worth the knowledge because now I can say yea this is me. I say this to say that it's worth the effort, and ultimately it's about pulling away that mask and seeing the real you.

I will speak from experience. I just got my Autism and ADHD (and PTSD) diagnosis last year. Up until that point has been meeting with counselors and psychologists that were always talking about how I act "normal" (making eye contact being an example).
