It was really expensive to get beer into corner stores one year early. Had Ontario’s Conservatives just waited one year, this wouldn’t have cost us nearly $2 billion.

$2 billion that could’ve gone to hospitals, schools, and social programs. #onpoli

I asked Ontario’s Minister of Colleges and Universities whether he or his staff had any influence over millions given to a company that was flagged by a forensic audit and is now before the OPP Anti-Rackets Branch.

His answer? Perplexing. Here’s my response. #onpoli

I’ll be voting against Bill 33, again, today.

Bill 33 is a power-grab that centralizes control, sidelines local voices, and opens the door to political interference from child welfare to K-12 to post-secondary.

Students, families, and educators deserve better. #onpoli #onted

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacists say they’re pressured by corporate to push this program - and now we learn $81M was billed to Ontarians for it in just 2 years.

Had the privilege of speaking with Carleton University’s first-ever nursing class about advocacy. Nurses aren’t just caregivers – we’re change-makers. Seeing their passion reminded me why I fight every day for a stronger, more compassionate health care system. The future is bright. 🩺✨ #onpoli

Nurse Practioners change lives every single day. This week, we honour their skill, leadership, and compassion - and we fight for a healthcare system that supports their work, not one that burns them out.

Happy Nurse Practitioner Week. @npaontario.bsky.social

This morning, Nepean gathered to remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who fought for our freedom.

Thank you to the Bells Corners Royal Canadian Legion 593 and Barrhaven Legion 641 for such heartfelt ceremonies.

Lest we forget. 🇨🇦

This #RemembranceDay, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and thank the brave Canadians who continue to serve today.

May we always honour their courage through our actions and compassion.

Ontario’s Conservatives have billions sitting in contingency funds, $500M for a parking lot, and billions for a tunnel - but refuse to fund hospitals properly.

Today, Ontario Liberals called for an immediate $1B investment in hospitals to keep ERs open & care accessible. #onpoli

I toured Pinecrest Queensway’s South Nepean and Main Primary Care Clinics today - and left inspired.

They’re breaking down barriers to care, supporting families, and building a healthier, more equitable #Nepean.

This week, Sikhs here in Nepean and around the world celebrated Gurpurab, marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Thank you to the Ottawa Sikh Society Gurdwara Sahib for the warm welcome, delicious langar and inviting us to join in this special celebration.

I stood alongside my fellow nurses this week at the @ontarionurses.bsky.social vigil - remembering those we’ve lost to workplace, domestic, and gender-based violence.

We owe it to them to make real change, to protect every nurse, and to end this violence once and for all. #onpoli

With billions in surplus being held back by the province for “contingency”, it’s about time they make public health whole.

She only talked about recruitment.

Even after I reminded her, twice, that my question was about retention, she ignored it.
