The San Diego layout looks okay but there are zero passing opportunities on the first three quarters of a 3.5-mile track. The first two turns are 90 degree corners. Can’t say I like that.

I could definitely see that. He’s not a super aggressive racer and he’s never been in this position before, but with a championship on the line, who knows, maybe he ups the aggression.

I think Briscoe is honestly the championship favourite at this point tbh. He’s been so good everywhere the last 20 or so races this year. He’s won at Phoenix before, so if he and his team can be mistake-free, I think the title is his.

You know if you’re multiple laps down with only 40 or so left in the race and you’re coming to pit road under green out of sequence, there is no reason to not be way the hell out of the way. Dillon slowed late and was drifting up the track as Byron hit him. That was pathetic on the part of the 10.

OK, so I *just* saw the clip from the broadcast. They obviously didn’t catch everything cuz you see safety workers and the truck around him but I don’t see Carson doing anything other than just sitting there in the clip, so there must be more to this.

I was trying to find it in the race highlights this morning but couldn’t. I remember him spinning and getting stuck during the race. I feel like they showed him spinning the tires to get back going on the broadcast and don’t remember seeing anything egregious.
