Students learned challenging but important current issues in archaeology such as looting and preservation of cultural heritage, all while being immersed in Jordan's culturally rich society. Drs Harvey & Hardman & their students look forward to sharing their discoveries soon! #UAlberta

At Humayma, students learned modern best practices for archaeological photography, pottery drawing, ceramic typologies, survey strategies, architectural documentation & assessment of archaeological preservation & cutting-edge archaeological techniques. #UAlberta

Over the past three weeks, under the leadership of our Prof Craig Harvey and Dr Amanda Hardman, 15 #UAlberta undergrads worked closely with archaeologists to record & process archaeological material & carry out a pedestrian survey at the site of Humayma in southern Jordan.
