UA Resist is sharing a gofundme campaign on their behalf. Please note, for the student’s safety, we are not disclosing their name to minimize further state surveillance.
Mutual Aid Request: A member of the UA and Tucson community is facing mounting cost after having their student visa revoked and two felony charges that could result in prison and deportation. They need the support of community members to raise $4,500 by 11/15/2025.
Masks and registration are required. Links can be found in our Linktree.
UPDATED: We’re holding two events in September: an open meeting for folks that are interested in joining UA Resist, and an organizing 101 session to learn new skills and foster a space of mentorship/collaboration!
While UA admin and the institution might change their “values” according to the whims of violent and fascist governments, we will not comply. We imagine and strive to create more and different worlds of liberation.

Ways to get involved, actions, and learning sessions coming soon!
As we begin another semester, changes abound on campus, but UA Resist continues. We are regrouping, staying organized, and fighting back. We want to re-introduce ourselves to you all—friends, communities, and comrades.
UA Resist and our comrades, the LGBTQ+ Student Council, will continue to post updates, events, and ways to resist UA’s fascist compliance. We won’t be silenced or erased.
If you are interested in joining, please stay tuned for more information at the beginning of the school year. We need help from as many people as possible to keep our resources our own.
The LGBTQ+ Student Council is a group of students operating from the LGBTQ+2S Resource Center advocating for LGBTQ+2S students on campus by preserving & expanding access to queer-affirming resources & information at the UA.
We refuse to allow them to censor another form of our resources, so the IG account, @ua_lgbtq, has been taken over by the LGBTQ+ Student Council.
The administration at the UA is slowly destroying all of the CRCs. First they fired the directors, then they took our names, and now they have removed our websites.
