SPIRe colleagues, Melanie Hoewer and Caitriona Dowd, are co-leading this initiative with colleagues at ERC-funded Coercive Injustice project. It aims to strengthen trauma-sensitivity and wellbeing for researchers working on emotionally challenging topics, including conflict, violence and coercion.
Last week, we welcomed Dr Tina Skinner, @uniofbath.bsky.social, who trained us on fostering researcher wellbeing. This is part of a wider effort our @erc.europa.eu project is helping lead at UCD: “Fostering Safety and Trauma Sensitivity for Researchers Undertaking Emotionally Challenging Research.”
