I've struggled so much with my mental health all my life that I've really put a lot of points into the self care category. though I still falter sometimes and can be weak, I wanna keep trying and bouncing back even if it's in small ways towards getting better

grounding techniques work, breathing intentionally works, mindfulness exercises work, taking care of ur physical self helps ur mental self, talking to ppl and being urself is good, positive reminders are nice, getting help when ur struggling can save ur life, and there's always tomorrow too

it's #worldmentalhealthday and real talk, I think that journalling my honest feelings has helped me out the most with my depression and anxiety. I had been scared to say the truth and accept what I was really feeling, never felt safe to do that. But writing without judgement is 🙏💖

Today I'm in a good mood overall! I got some extra sleep last night and today I think I did really well with some of my good habits. Particularly working on the stepper treadmill for 25 minutes. It was a good workout, very sweaty, it said 200 calories for 25 minutes so that's like a bag of spicy dill pickle chips lmao
