By the end of the year, we will be completing a lighting project that adds new bright lights at the perimeter of the campus. Lighting across the campus core is also being replaced as part of ongoing construction and will be completed by 2027.

UH is also strengthening campus safety — we’ve added 80 new security and police personnel, and a new police substation is coming to the center of the campus.

In the Professional District, the Hobby School of Public Affairs will welcome students and community partners into its new home in 2027.

At the heart of campus, the Innovation Hub is rising — a collaborative space and maker hub that will open in late 2027, inspiring entrepreneurship and creativity.
