Making this axe has been really aggravating. Every step of the way I've come across another reason why I have to completely restart. Maya just comes up with new ways to fuck up my model without me knowing 👹

I finally have more Maya stuff to share!

I just realized I read the amount of submissions wrong. There were actually 19!
Some were disqualified for not being related to the theme or for being started far before the game jams start date (this just means they can’t be rated).

Harnessing the awesome power of leaves is harder than it looks. A lot of iterations of leaf shield trying to land on one I liked. Flip side, painting on the alpha channel to give it that little bit of wood texture was very satisfying 🤖🌳

Made this in under 2 hours as part of a little challenge in my game development class. I made my own assets and reused some old scripts I had from a previous game assignment. Right now the player gets stuck on the platforms when moving and I can't remember how to fix it 😅
