watching squeex and vinny at the same time . squeex doing a voice bit within a horror game [echo + proper horror infliction in his voice] and vinny always giving his all when reading dialogue. i love when streamers do mild voice acting.... kicking my feet in joy...

they almost solved this problem with pokemon masters EX but even then , it focuses on the big favorites. and also the gameplay is a little boring so its hard to stay engaged in the trainers

it sucks cause pokemon has such good human characters but i feel as if the pokemon games and company don't really... prioritize or use them as much. sure there's the favorites they ALWAYS use [N and cynthia mainly] but there's just so many trainers they dont use much !!

technically diamond to galar aren't fully connected but there's referecnes [and also entire arcs aka omega ruby alpha sapphire that bring back the old characters so u still kinda have to read all volumes]

unforunately to really enjoy specials from red to emerald, you have to read ALLL the volumes. since they're all connected. but that's beautiful, i love long connecting stories....
