Scotland is still very much on Twitter so maybe that's it?

my literal next post was about aberdeen fatigue lol

we passed a resolution not long ago to cut our delegate entitlement so we could fit into smaller venues

time to retvrn to the tradition of actually going places we can make our presence felt (and give us a break from annual trips to aberdeen)

this is fully serious. they have a conference space that can host 1000+ delegates and hotel rooms to match, plus october is off season

i am formally launching my campaign to have snp conference 2026 in aviemore

aberdeen's nightlife has an oddly sinister character, and i say that as a glaswegian
ulycia.bsky.social
Absolutely, completely in agreement with you

Christ some of these women had *kids* with the spies under these pretences, and this was all for spying on activists

It's actually insulting that the person above is comparing a dicey one night stand to that
ulycia.bsky.social
That isn't even really what the spy cops case was about - it was about whether it's okay for the state to use its power to waste years of these womens lives and ruin their trust in other people with completely fake relationship for essentially no reason

One of the special things about Scotland is how it gets its claws into your heart and never lets go

Enjoy your not at all cringe activities in the breakout room

ulycia.bsky.social
Yeah she did just look like a garden variety girlboss and not a batman villain
ulycia.bsky.social
oh fuck sake, the sheer level of incompetence here

access to work is legitimately one of the few good programmes they have and it has helped people i know a *lot*

i didn't even see they were making changes to it, that's horrific
ulycia.bsky.social
they do know a huge part of the disability employment problem is employers simply refuse to employ disabled people or have any reasonable accommodation yes? no amount of specialist jobs advisors will get you into employment when you have CV gaps or stop you getting sacked after a panic attack

spotted the sex matters sticker on the creepy boy's hat, good to see they're playing to type

That isn't taxing the childless any more than basics like publicly funded education are
ulycia.bsky.social
Presumably because children are citizens and deserve support and services in their own right, which is what most "spending on policy that supports families" really is when it's done well
ulycia.bsky.social
I'd say they've banned Glamorgan sausages but I guess we're not in the EU anymore so 🤷‍♀️

anyway in case you're wondering why i'm actually quite proud to campaign for the snp it's because of a clear message of support for people seeking asylum *and* good homelessness policy, and knowing that these aren't in conflict

Today's Tory motion continues their pattern of wrongly blaming migrants for everything - but they can't even get the basics right. When it comes to issues as sensitive as migration, getting the facts right really matters.
