It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Frank C. Miller, socio-cultural anthropologist and Emeritus Professor of Anthropology at the UofM. Professor Miller's research focused on cultural changes in Mexico. We join the family in mourning the loss of Professor Miller.

Emily Briggs will begin a postdoc in the Department of Anthropology at Lakehead University analyzing archaeological bison samples from Ontario and Alberta to understand their diet, environment and movements. She will also participate in community engagement and mentorship
