I don't like asking for money. But I'm the only person saving filmstrips, and I can't do it without help.

$69 of $30,000, ten days in. Please donate if you can. Please share if you can't.

Scanned and uploaded to @archive.org: Part of a series on life in medieval times, this #filmstrip shows what life was like in a castle. That pattern you see is not part of the film, it's the film binder beginning to fail; the final boss of Eastmancolor stock.

Scanned and uploaded to @archive.org: This 1968 #filmstrip is a systematic analysis of American writer Mark Twain, but it's missing its soundtrack. Fun Fact: producer Howard Decker once offered me his archive, then ghosted me. Or he might have died.

Scanned and uploaded to @archive.org: This intense 1951 religious #filmstrip tells the story of a steamer captain who takes an orphan into his care; the orphan dies which causes the captain to believe in God. Wait... what?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In 2025 I saved 250+ filmstrips without any of the equipment the big archives have. In 2026, let's try for 500.

I need a fraction of what museums need to do this full-time. Please share my mission to save these rare films before it's too late.
