Unfolding Theatre’s mission is to bring people together. We stand against hate. We are sad and troubled by far right protests planned in Newcastle this weekend. However, we are heartened by the actions of many people who work to build connections, understanding and support in the city.

We had a brilliant time at the North East Charity Awards ✨

Unfolding Theatre was proud to be shortlisted for Small Charity of the Year. Congrats to Cornerstone Benwell on the win 👏

Wonderful to see so much inspiring work making lives better across the North East.
Four women are standing side by side in front of a branded backdrop for the North East Charity Awards. All are smiling at the camera. From left to right: the first woman has long brown hair and glasses, wearing a black dress decorated with sparkling bead details and floral tattoos visible on her arm. The second woman has long wavy brown hair and glasses, wearing a sage green dress with a pink jacket. The third woman has short red hair, wearing a sleeveless red dress with a blue patterned jacket. The fourth woman has straight blonde hair, wearing a black dress with a white spotted pattern. The backdrop behind them is white and covered with sponsor logos in blue, green, black, and orange.
