I’m rewatching #StarTrekProdigy, and I think I’m going to go out on a limb and say Gwyn is my favourite character in the entire franchise. A brilliant role model for girls. We needed to see so much more of her.

(And I’m only on episode 2!)

It’s definitely something we need to not obsess over. If we want the ability to block on BlueSky, sometimes we’ll be on the receiving end. It’s worth it to keep the trolls at bay. And they’re the ones missing out on your posts!

It took me till I was 40 to work this out. I spent the first 2 decades of my working life convinced my coworkers were right when they criticised me for having empathy and not always thinking the worst of people. Ironically if I’d thought worse of my coworkers, I’d have worked it out much sooner!

Thank you! I almost wish I didn’t know know though, apparently a whole 26 people have blocked me and at quick glance they mostly seem… real and nice? I wonder if the “red” in my name puts people off. Outside America it means socialism, not MAGA!

Or it could really be about Tuvix 😂

Not that I know of, but that would be good. I’ve seen union flags that have “refugees welcome” on them though. And people will fly rainbow flags at counter protests - just the normal Pride ones. We don’t seem to have a nationally agreed alternative though.

I wish we could use British flags but the other side have well and truly claimed them. If we used them we’d intimidate the people we’re trying to support.

This is a lot like the counter-protests against the right wing in the UK are like (on a smaller scale.) We forget to chant because we’re too busy chatting! I’m disappointed that I’ll miss the one that’s on this weekend because I was hoping to catch up with a former colleague and talk about work.
