I've gotten away with some gore, but yeah, I've seen Webtoon mess with creators over pretty innocuous things sometimes. Always feels like a gamble posting anything there! 🙃

Been four years since I last made any Halloween art. Honestly didn't think I'd have time for it this year, either, but I started sketching something out for my webcomic yesterday, so...fingers-crossed I actually manage to finish it! 😅

Even more Archie homages!

Art for my webcomic, the Undeath of Me, based on Archie's Mad House #16. Ethan, a hapless, human salesman, holds a taped-up briefcase while approaching Baptiste. He says to the smiling vampire, "I'm starved! Know where I can get a good bite?"

Art for Undeath of Me, based on Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #3. A boat exits the Tunnel of Terror. Ethan, all smiles, wipes at his bloodied mouth and exclaims, "God, I love the taste of your blood, Lilibeth!" Lilibeth, confused, responds, "What are you talking about?!" A disheveled Baptiste is in the seat behind them, his neck bitten and bleeding.

Art inspired by Life with Archie #2, featuring Lilibeth, Ethan, and Baptiste from Undeath of Me. The three of them are encircled in a heart. Ethan celebrating Halloween with Lilibeth, as a human, and later on with Baptiste, as a vampire--all in costumes my readers voted for in 2020!

Ethan celebrating Halloween with his wife, Lilibeth, back when he was still human. Lilibeth is dressed as a black cat, while Ethan is a witch. He uses a broom to keep her pressed against him, their gazes locked. Their costumes won't be staying on for long.

Baptiste has dressed up as a devil for Halloween, complete with horns and a pristine red suit. Ethan, now a vampire like Baptiste, is a bedraggled angel, the broken halo on his head barely holding on with duct tape. Muffling Ethan in the middle of an F-bomb, Baptiste says, "Stay in character!"

Never invite a vampire to a costume party...

My characters, Spencer and Jay, dressed as a prince and fairy for Halloween, as voted for by my readers in 2020. Jay watches helplessly as a smirking, bloodstained Spencer thrusts an even bloodier sword in front of his face.

Spencer has glomped onto Jay from behind, all smiles. Jay simply stands there awkwardly, unable to look away from the off-panel horrors before him.
