I’ve saw them in the early 90’s at Medusa’s (former metal/HC/punk venue that no longer exists in Chicago). They played with Nuclear Assault. I remember being awestruck at how tight they were.

Seems like unconventional guitar players often write the most memorable stuff. He does cool things with alternate picking & hammer-ons, and writes really good leads. I remember thinking that their music would be hard to pull off live as a 3-pc. When I saw them, they were as tight live as on record.
