- As per Fabrizio Romano, during the summer Sporting were pushing for Viktor Gyokeres to sign for Manchester United, even being prepared to accept a lower fixed fee than Arsenal offered but with higher bonuses. However, Gyokeres only wanted Arsenal (feel like we might've dodged a bullet there).

- The Athletic released an article today to discuss the recent rumours over a potential takeover. They confirm that a 'drag along rights' clause was activated in August 2025. This clause exists to prevent minority shareholders (INEOS)
