This was the bit that jumped out to me, I think. It's certainly a different approach to interest than my own psychological wiring affords, but I can definitely appreciate a mechanics-forward metric for what a particular game intends for the players to confront.

The writer expresses "No interest whatsoever" in TTRPGs that operate primarily as a means to explore an individual specific setting or type of scenario.
