As #COP30 opens in Brazil, States must ensure that human rights defenders are not sidelined. They are key stakeholders in climate action, yet too often obstructed or excluded from the process. To achieve a just transition, we need HRDs at the table.

🌍 Climate change is a human rights crisis, and those defending our planet are human rights defenders. Instead of criminalising them, States should listen, engage and protect them.
