New Adobe Photoshop survey is up, it sure would be a shame if it was flooded with artists leaving anti AI sentiment survey.adobe.com/jfe/form/SV_...
Adding to all of this - this woman is a serial killer, as in, has killed and will kill again. Doug was undeniably a monster, but the stakes are different. And like you said, Maddie never really felt completely safe. Here, she actually did, and that's a different kind of fear.
Hoping I finish the edit I was working on today or tomorrow 🤞 it was actually coming along really well I'm just stuck on something at the end

Been inactive this weekend since I'm attempting to make an edit 🥳
Someone said they think Chris will say he misses LA and Buck and that Eddie will be like, yeah, me too kid. And I neeeeed it.
Canon event 😭 they make me so emotional
Yesss that's what I think as well. Because maybe Eddie is hopeful that his parents aren't still the same as before, that he's earned some respect in their eyes. And I suspect actually nothing has changed. So he'll be missing Buck even more without any support or shoulder to lean on
Thank you so much! No I agree, I feel like they did a really good job of showing all sides to the conflict so you could understand where they were coming from. They were also just allowed to be human, and feel what they were feeling, but still resolved it so fast because of the bond they have?
thank you so much! I still can't believe they served us buddie angst that good
are you fucking joking? LOOK AT THE TEAR IN EDDIE'S EYES I CAN'T---
I think I haven't felt this way since the confessions ep tbh like that was GOOD and not just the buddie stuff although obviously that's dominating my brain rn. but everything felt really well done
I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not because it just means we're in for SUCH a treat, holy shit. I'm still staring at my screen in awe
him to do what HE thinks is right for his son. That's all Eddie's ever wanted, that's all he's ever asked for. And he's going to feel the stark contrast of that when he goes back to El Paso where he has no one but himself.
going away present he possibly could: one last night with the family he chose, and all of his worries taken care of with one simple action, just like when he introduced Eddie to Carla. Because that's what Buck's done, from day one with Eddie: he supports him, and he empowers -c-
He had actual TEARS in his eyes, and of course there was guilt because he'd assumed the worst, but Buck doesn't hold it against him because he gets it. He didn't give Eddie a reason to think anything else, and so he accepts it with grace, and he gives Eddie the greatest -c-
That's not to say Buck has never been selfless before with them - we know he has. But being selfless is harder when you're hurting, and he does it anyway. You see in that moment how much he has grown, how much Eddie means to him, and Eddie feels it too. -c-
not in that moment being a good friend because he thinks it's easy for Eddie to leave because of what he overheard. But at some point, he's able to look past all of that and let the love he feels for Eddie but also for Chris push him to do what's best for them instead of him. -c-
the tension between them beautifully, because neither of them understands the true origin of Buck's feelings. Buck snaps back at Eddie about him leaving and abandoning him because he IS feeling hurt, and he DOESN'T know how to process those feelings. He's triggered, and he's -c-
re-examine his feelings back in 7x04 because that's the only other time he's gotten this unhinged. Eddie is understandably upset because he was under the impression Buck was genuinely trying to help, and he's stressed, and he just wants to see his son again. This built -c-
I actually really loved how they handled the conflict with Buck and Eddie. Buck didn't try to sabotage, but subconsciously he still couldn't help it, just as he couldn't help hurting Eddie in 7x04 when he got upset. I wouldn't doubt that talking about this is what gets him to -c-
