Shelbourne FC 1895 + Music
Noooo! Another one to wish all the very best for. What he did over the last 3 seasons (bossing midfield with JJ, winning the league, filling in in defence without complaint) was magnificent. The next captain has a lot to live up to and the replacement signings will need to be very good indeed.
End of an era at Tolka for the Donegal man.

In Leeds-Bradford airport waiting for flight home and I just saw Harry Wood! I barely recognised him as he wasn't scoring the goal that won Shels first LOI Championship in 18 years, but was instead in civvies with a baseball cap.

Lewis Temple departs Shelbourne for Bolton Wanderers the42.ie/6919556 This is disappointing but hardly a surprise. Due to a recent enough injury, we only ever saw flashes of how (very) good he can be while he was at Shels. Wish him well and hope the fee will help sign a good replacement!

Conor Kearns off on loan to Chernobyl! That injury was really unfortunate for him. I hope he gets back on track in Dundalk given all he did for Shels under Duff.

No disgrace there at all. It has to be a plus that next season when the Team is playing Dundalk for example that they stood toe to toe with the 4th place team in the Premier League.

It's Tallaght. It's cold. It's raining. Shels are in Europe. All good.

While the results aren’t ideal, I still feel the gap is decreasing, if the League of Ireland develops more over the coming years, we will be winning these matches. We need full time academies aplenty and increased capacity for fans!

Ah well. Wasn't able to watch it but will look for the highlights. Given the gap in budgets etc it's a respectable result. Pity the 'easier games' didn't go better. Looking forward to the last 'home' match of the season in December.
