Trump argued every day that the NY AG weaponized her office against him for obvious political reasons. It fell flat inside the courtroom every time, Judge didn't care. James is also trying to win public sympathy, but it won't beat the charges. She had to see this coming. It's been out there a while

Why did she neglect to say, "I'm innocent" and I will fight these baseless charges aggressively....

I thought everyone charged with a federal crime and facing jail, outright says "they're innocent" to the nation's potential jurors.

"baseless" is enough?

Trump probably only knows real estate law better than anything else in his life. He doesn’t need to go to China for advice on that.

And typically when the U.S. government is weaponized against you, they use tax evasion. It never fails.

Doesn't everyone charged with a crime and facing jail time remind potential jurors they have to be proven guilty?

There's really been no official explanation for why this would happen. It rings hollow as just another Obamacare trillion dollar doomsday scenario of the month. We know the cost is going to continue to skyrocket regardless of who claims victory for ending the shutdown.
