A constituent reached out for help after he tried to get his deceased father’s final refund for tax year 2023. I was happy to step in, and after providing the necessary documentation, the agency sent him a refund of nearly $8,000. I'm proud to help constituents get their money back from the IRS.

New fire engine on the way for Cambria Fire Department
The Cambria Fire Department currently has two fire engines, one purchased in 2017 and another in 2006, but both had mechanical issues last year, costing close to $60,000 to repair.

Embarrassingly, too many servicemembers experience food insecurity, especially with the recent uncertainty around SNAP benefits. I led a bipartisan group to make changes to the Basic Needs Allowance so that servicemembers don’t have to choose between a roof over their head or food on the table.
