This morning, Rep. Sandra Hollins announced that she will not be running for re-election to the House next year. She has diligently served the people of her district, and of our state, for a decade, and we thank her for her dedication and hard work. She will be missed!

Thousands of Utahns are facing insurance premium increases that they simply can’t afford, all thanks to Trump and our GOP representatives in Congress. At a time when the cost of living is already a huge burden on families, this is going to be devastating. We deserve action from our leaders.

The Utah GOP is currently gathering signatures to put a full repeal of Proposition 4 on the ballot next year. They can’t stand the people having a voice, so they are pulling out all the stops in order to give our power back to the legislature. If you see someone gathering signatures, DON’T SIGN!

Thanks to Trump and the GOP’s reckless economic policies, Americans are facing higher prices on housing, gas, and groceries. Politicians should be focused on lowering costs for us, not giving tax cuts to the wealthy.

We had a great Central Committee meeting last weekend partnering with the Utah County Democratic Party! Special thanks to DNC Vice Chair Shasti Conrad, who joined us. We passed a budget and a few bylaw amendments that will help our party be stronger and ready for 2026 and beyond!

Utah has a new congressional map! It's clear that the GOP is terrified of voters actually getting a voice in who represents them in Congress. That's because they know that their record is simply indefensible. With this new map, Utahns will hold them accountable next November.
