A mosquito-borne arbovirus, O’nyong’nong virus (ONNV) is an acute febrile illness w/HA, large joint pains, +/- rash & LAD.

It was identified in 1959 but remains relatively rare, partially due to limited diagnostics. These are the 1st reported Nigerian cases… #IDSky
