Every time I work in inpatient hospitals I am reminded by how poor they are and utterly demoralising it is that this is so normalised.

The NHS needs to wake up to its complicity in extreme violence.

Why are we legally detaining teenages in mental health hospitals?

And then allow them to be so poorly run?

I’d listen to the argument for this if we didn’t have alternatives that were way better…

This is ableism pure and simple.
