Having had the opposite experience, that person might have sucked up a lot of shyness and hoped for a genuine interaction.

With some training, being social can become an improving skill.

Tho careful of the public instances you find yourself in, VRC is cooo but it can be a bit of a gamble.

Don't forget that the whole metaverse idea was based around the thing that people HAVE ZERO REASON to do when "escaping reality". Which is: work.

Companies seem to not have never understand their audience. Facebook and its VR dept. is one of them.

It was doomed to fail because of this too.
