Ayah would love 'The Princess Bride', both for its romantic plotline of star-crossed lovers and high adventure, and the way it plays with narrative and tropes. There's also something very bardic about the way the tale is told, complete with interjections and asides, which shed find very engaging.

Ken is probably getting curry rice from CoCo Ichibanya, or perhaps a beef bowl if he's in the mood for something different. He eats Western-style food if someone else is buying; left to himself, no matter what his intentions were, he sonehow always ends up back at CoCo Ichibanya eating curry rice.

Ayah would be leaning hard into her mitteleuropäische roots and getting currywurst and pommes frites. Best eaten on a street corner with your friends while waiting for the S-Bahn, within sight of three other takeaways selling the exact same thing. Semi-warm can of spiky soda optional.
